Chatsworth Gardens: The Revelation Water Feature

be-132_art3__31292.jpg The popular UK sculptor Angela Conner planned the Chatsworth decorative exterior fountain called “Revelation.” The late 11th Duke of Devonshire mandated her, because of her work in brass and steel, to design a limited edition bust of Queen Elizabeth in commemoration of the Queen’s 80th birthday bash. Jack Pond, one of Chatsworth’s earliest ponds, had “Revelation” installed in 1999. The four large metallic flower petals open and close with the circulation of water, alternately camouflaging and showing a gold colored globe at the sculpture’s center. A steel globe finished with gold dust was incorporated into the sculpture, which rests five meters in height and five meters in width. The flower petals move based on the flow of water, making this installation an intriguing addition to the Chatsworth Garden grounds.

Install Your Own Garden Water Fountain in Your Work Place

Your business surroundings can benefit with a garden fountain. Having this kind of element is a great way to attract clients to your office. Corporate areas, as opposed to home spaces, need to have outdoor fountains that make the place feel inviting and leave a positive impression on guests and employees.

Any growing firm knows the importance of encouraging new business by leaving a lasting impression on new customers. It is not hard to create green spaces in even the smallest of spaces by installing garden water fountains, attractive plants and flowers, among other things. Even bigger, more alluring garden displays can be set up in corporate areas that have more open space available. However, there are a lot of business spaces that must settle on much smaller areas.

In the end, the main goal is to create an atmosphere that attracts new interest in your business. Your garden fountain will act much like a welcoming embrace to new clients thinking about working with your business.

Disappearing Fountains: A Few of the Benefits of Having one in your Backyard

The other name for a disappearing fountain is a “pondless” fountain. The source of the water is not visible because it is underneath the surface of the ground. Disappearing fountains should be positioned near any place people hang out frequently, as they add so much to the surrounding area. It is not difficult to find the style that is right for you, as there are so many to choose from such as millstones, ceramic urns, waterfalls, and also those with granite columns.

Disappearing fountains also have many advantages. The water rises from underground and does not create a large pool above ground so any danger to those around it is reduced.

This means that children can safely be around it. Moreover, no water is going to evaporate since it is not exposed to the open air. Consequently, your fountain will not use as much water as other styles of fountains. The time you spend on upkeep is also minimized since algae does not grow underground and debris can not get into the water source. Finally, you can put one just about anywhere given that it takes up so little space.

How Feng Shui Make Your Garden into Place to Relax

When applied to your yard, feng shui design will draw its beneficial energy into your home as well.

When incorporating feng shui design into your gardden, even a very small space works. If you have a lavish, eye-catching one, that is great, but even a small area works well with feng shui design.

The primary feng shui tools can be used for your interior decor as well as your garden design. In order to learn the energy map, or bagua, of your garden, you will first want to understand your home’s bagua.

Before getting started, make sure you understand the five elements of feng shui so that you can maximize their energy.

The northeast corner of your garden, for instance, connects to personal growth and self-cultivation energy, and Earth is the feng shui element that is necessary to incorporate it. Since rocks epitomize the Earth element in feng shui, you might consider putting some into a serene Zen garden in the northeast corner of your yard.

Think about incorporating a water feature into these feng shui areas: East (health & family), North (career & path in life), or Southeast (money and abundance).

Garden Fountains: Installment Tips

A lot of people forget about the need for an electrical socket or water source close by when considering where to position their garden fountain. The delight of owning one occasionally causes people to forget the technical aspects when setting it up for the first time. Do not forget that an extension cord can be useful if your 120v power source is more than 12 feet away, as that is the normal length of power cords. Install your fountain in a place close to a water source as you will need to refill it. It is challenging to move water from one place to another. If you have given thought to it before installation, having a hose close by will make the task of filling the fountain much easier. The ideal setup is with a water fountain autofill, but this has to be attached to an external water line and requires a skilled person to install it.
